Canada Day celebrations at the Canadian Golf and Country Club. A very mellow celebration. Not our normal day but we made it through with not too much disappointment. Edzea and Rohan got to try golfing.

Neve had a GREAT party to do. All things green and lots of fun for everyone. She started saying DaDa for Tim last night so that’s her first 1 year word and she LOVES to say it! She also LOVED her cupcake.

I’ll post better pictures once friends send them along to me. Also there’s a little video of a snippet of her party at the end!

Dropped in at the fire station on Iber Road today and the kids got to see the fire engines up close and the firemen gave them each a fire hat and some crayons. They were thrilled. I’ve been trying to co-ordinate a station visit for Rohan’s party but it’s not working out so my friend, Janet, said…don’t worry about it, just take Rohan for a special trip on his own the next week! Good idea so that’s what I’m goind to do and get pictures!

Neve sings for us on cue now. Very cute. The kids think it’s hilarious. I’ll post some video of it when I get a chance. She is LOUD when she does it too!

When Sally was here I was able to volunteer in Edzea’s classroom one day while Sally had Neve. Here are a few pics of her and her two best girlfriends in the class. Eloise (who’s princess birthday party she is going to this week) and Lillee (her friend in our neighbourhood).

Neve and I were able to attend Edzea’s JK Christmas party this morning. My camera phone wasn’t working well so this is all I got. The one with the adult is her teacher, Mrs. Cardy.

Neve’s top eye tooth popped up overnight!!! Top right and it’s out further than her bottom two lowers. Her ear infection seems to be clearing up but to be on the safe side I’m taking lactose out of the equation for a few weeks and then re-introducing it.

Quick upload of photos while I’m waiting for trick or treaters. Slow in this neighbourhood this year. They must have been from out of our neighbourhood last year. We had 60-80 last year. I’m at about 15 tonight and it’s almost 8pm. Our little trick or treaters have been gone since 6:30. Neve is upstairs sleeping. She was too tired for me to get her in her costume tonight. I’ll take a pic tomorrow.
